Asharam Maharaj says, truth is my shield

This incident is from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A city which has been drenched in hues of 'BabaGiri' since last two years. Sometimes you could make out Police doing brutal control on followers of Asharam Bapu or you could mark out the devotees prostrating themselves on dust. Media does not leave behind a chance to run stories on him and his bhakts do not leave behind a chance to even take behind 'dust' of the road from which Asharam's Vehicular entourage just passed. This tug-of-perspectives has now reached its extreme, in so much that today, 1 Dec 2015 when media personnel asked Asharam Bapu as to whose conspiracy do you believe is all this ? Bapu quipped - 'yours'. Naturally enough, both Media and Bapu quickly followed this with a bout of laughter but this bit has got my minds churning. What if Media actually had a huge play in this all this extreme polarization of views in and against Asharam ? We bring in to you this post around these facts-

1. Komal Malhotra recants her story -

Aren't you all now thinking, who is this Komal Malhotra ? Never caught her anywhere in Asharam Bapu's case before, Well keep scrolling and you should know soon enough.

                           I wish to keep dirty side of Media's face before you. Today that you see me standing before you all, i feel it wouldn't have been possible without my Guru's grace. I have recounted my experience many times in Delhi's Jantar Mantar but this is the first time i have this opportunity to say-it-all here. I was shot close-range on 29th July 2013. I was sweeping front gates of my house, when i observed that some goons are misbehaving with a woman. They are trying to snatch away some goods from her, and regularly insulting her. I saw, no one in the vicinity was coming forward to saught out the issue. I however felt as if BapuJi is speaking to me from inside. He's saying that - "If you have actually listened to my discourses in true sense, it is the time to bring them into actions. Go my daughter, go and try to save this woman" So, i felt when my Guru is telling me, i must go on to fight irrespective of the fact that there were two goons in front of me. When they slapped the woman on her face and pushed her on ground, i called out, "Brother, that's enough. Now if you don't leave her, i'll hit you with my broom." He however did not comply and my Guru's strength was with me. When i saw the woman being slapped second time, i quickly went in and attacked him with my broom. He had her gold chain in his hands, which he threw (possibly to distract us), picked it up again and started running. In all this heat, the woman regained some consciousness that someone is trying to help her, so when the goon started running away i tried catching him. The woman besides me also jumped in to catch him. In a bid to protect himself, he sat on bike. His accomplice already had the bike ignited with his helmet in place. The snatcher took out a gun from under his shirt, i was standing almost laterally to him. I had no prior intimation that he could be carrying some sort of weapons at all. He shot at me. At that time, my hand was hanging tilted just before me as i was carrying my broom in it. The bullet grazed my index finger and entered my heart. I saw my shirt has got torn and a pool of blood forming around my finger. After this, i went in to the doctor's and had two surgeries performed - one on index finger and other on my heart.

                     I wish to tell you, i got five bravery awards from Delhi Police, Women Commission and Bitta Ji. But, that day when i was on bed of ICU and my bullet had just been removed, a senior reporter of DD Metro came by. Mine incident is of 29th July and the first FIR filed against Asharam Bapu was on 21st August. So, till then there was no outcry in media whatsoever. Media hadn't been  doggedly defaming him just yet. She addressed me, "Child, you seem very small for your age". I was then resting on Hospital's couch. My bullets had just been removed and for 2 days i had neither to eat or drink or exert myself in anyway. Because bullet had hit my heart and lungs are very close anatomically, even if the bullet had moved a bit, there could have been a blast. But, who hurts them who is being protected by God? (It's a common Hindi Phrase).

                           I told them my story, Yes! I do appear small but this bravery and courage that has come inside me, is all because my Gurudev - Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu spake to me so. He told me that if i have actually heard his discourses, i should go out to help the sister. In general, i am the most coward in my home. Even if there's a lizard, i would first request my father to drive it away and then go. But this surge of my confidence and courage, i attribute it to my Gurudev - BapuJi. Then, DD Metro Reporter says, "Hold On! Hold On! Hold On! Do not take name of Sant Asharamji Bapu. Just tell that you have done all of this by yourself. Do not take BapuJi's name and i will get you bravery awards from people very high in rank. We have got express orders from upper echelons against covering Asharam in good light.

                          I felt such a blow at my heart, that BapuJi who inspired me through it. How can you speak as such against him ? This is my truth. Isn't it the duty of media to showcase the truth or media is now taking the liberty to crop the 'truth'? I said, i'll definitely take BapuJi's name. Then she said, No No I can't show his name - I have orders from up. So, people this gag orders from up is - for a saint like BapuJi we should only demean and abuse his name. This is media's actual plot which i wish to reveal before all. 

                          
                           After this i refused any sessions with her. I told, i don't want to give interview to you. She just said, i could have given you bravery awards from very influential realms. I replied back - my bravery award is my Bapu who is with me. And if it's in my fates, I'll get the awards anyways. She went away.

ये वाकया हैं -जोधपुर , राजस्थान का, जहां पिछले दो सालों से पूरा शहर बाबागिरी के रंग मे डूबा हुआ है। कभी पुलिस लाठीचार्ज करती नज़र आती है तो कभी आशाराम बापू के भक्त जमीन पे लोटते नज़र आते है। मीडिया उनके गुरु को ताना मारने का एक आलम नहीं छोड़ती और वो अपने गुरु जिस रास्ते से भी गुजर जाते है, उसकी चरण धुली उठाना नहीं भूलते । ये रस्सा-कस्सी इस दौड़ तक पहुँच गयी है कि - आज १ दिसंबर दिन में जब आशारामजी से ये पूछा गया कि " बापू, ये किसकी साजिश हो सकती हैं ?" तो उन्होने झट-पट कह दिया कि - "तुम्हारी" । भले फिर दोनों ही प्रश्न-कर्ता और वक्ता ने इस बात को हँसी में उड़ा दिया । लेकिन मेरे मन से ये बात जाती नहीं हैं । क्या पता सही मे ये सारा किया-कराया मीडिया का ही हो ? इससे पहले कि आप मेरी बात को हँसी मे उड़ा दे, पूरा आर्टिक्ल तो पढ़ लीजिए जनाब :

१. कोमल मल्होत्रा की जुबानी -

आप सोच रहे होंगे की , आखिर ये कोमल मल्होत्रा कौन हैं ? ये दिल्ली की निवासी हैं - जिन्हे अभी तक बहुत से बहुमूल्य सिविलियन बहादुरी पुरुस्कार मिल चुके हैं । वे कहती हैं -

                        
                                  मैं आपके सामने मीडिया का भद्दा चेहरा रखना चाहती हूँ । आप मुझे जो आज जिंदा देख रहे हैं, वो शायद गुरुदेव की कृपा नहीं होती तो मैं आपके समक्ष नहीं बोल पा रही होती । दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर में मैंने अपना अनुभव बहुत कहा है आज ये सौभाग्य मिला है कि मै यहाँ पर बोल रही हूँ। २९ जुलाई २०१३ को मुझे गोली लगी थी । मैं अपने घर के बाहर झाड़ू बुहारी कर रही थी । तो मैंने देखा कि एक औरत के साथ तो गुंडे जो है - छेड़-खानी कर रहे हैं । उसको वो छीना-झपटी कर रहे है, मार रहे है । तो सब जो हैं, वो अपना काम कर रहे थे, किसीने बचाव करने कि कोशिश नहीं की । तो मुझे अंदर से प्रेरणा हुई - बापू ने मुझे बोला कि अगर तूने मेरा सत्संग सही मे सुना है तो आज उसे क्रियान्वित करने का समय है । तू जा मेरी बच्ची इसको बचा । तो मुझे लगा गुरुदेव मुझे बोल रहे है तो मुझे संग्राम मे जाना चाहिए , वो दो गुंडे थे मेरे सामने । मैंने फिर देखा उसने उस औरत को थप्पड़ मारा और उसको नीचे गिरा दिया । मैंने बोला भैया अब बहुत हुआ , आप इसे छोड़ दो नहीं तो मैं आपको झाड़ू मारूँगी । वो नहीं माना , गुरुदेव का बल था मेरे साथ , मैं गयी और जब दूबारा उसने उसके मुह पर थप्पड़ मारा,  तो मैंने झाड़ू उठाकर उसको मारी । गोल्ड की चैन थी उसके हाथ में, उसने उसे फेंकी और उठाकर भागने लगा । वो औरत भी थोड़ी होश में आई कि कोई मेरी मदद के लिए आया है। तो जैसे वो जाने लगा तो मैंने उसको पकड़ने कि कोशिश की, उस औरत ने भी कोशिश की । भागम भाग के चक्कर में , आत्म-रक्षा के लिए वो बाइक पे बैठा । उसका दोस्त पहले से ही बाइक पे हेलमेट पहन के बैठा था । उसने अपने शर्ट के अंदर से गोली निकली और उस समय मैं ऐसे ( लगभग उसके सामने ) खड़ी थी । मुझे नहीं पता था उसके पास कोई हथियार हैं । उसने मुझे सामने से शूट किया । उस समय मेरा हाथ तिरछा मेरे सामने था, क्योंकि मैंने झाड़ू पकड़ा हुआ था । वो गोली मेरे कानी उंगली को छूती हुई, मेरे हार्ट के अंदर चल गयी । और मैंने देखा उस समय मेरी शर्ट फट गयी और मेरे उंगली के पास खूनों- खून हो गया । फिर मैं चली गयी उस समय डॉक्टर के पास । मेरी दो सर्जरी हुई - एक छोटी उंगली कि और दूसरी मेरे दिल की।

नहीं दिखा सकते समर्थन मे खबर

                              लेकिन मैं आपको बताना चाहती हूँ, मुझे दिल्ली पुलिस, नेशनल कमीशन औफ़ वुमेन , बिट्टा जी के तरफ से पाँच बहादुरी पुरस्कार मिले हैं । लेकिन उस दिन जिस दिन मैं आई.सी. यू  के बेड पर थी और मेरी गोली निकली गयी थी । मेरे पास डी॰डी॰ मेट्रो कि सीनियर रिपोर्टर आई थी । मेरा ये घटना २९ जुलाई २०१३ को है । बापू पे जो एफ.आई.आर हुई थी वो २१ अगस्त २०१३ को हुई थी । तब तक मीडिया मैं ऐसा कोई प्रकरण नहीं था । बापू के बारे में कुछ भी ऐसा मीडिया में नहीं था । उसने मुझे बोला बेटा ! आप बहुत छोटी सी लगती हो , मैं अस्पताल के बेड पे लेती हुई थी । उसी समय मेरी गोली निकली हुई थी । दो दिन बाद , दो दिन तक मुझे न खाने को , न पीने को , न उठने को माना किया गया था । क्योंकि यहाँ दिल होता है, यहाँ फेफड़े होते हैं । अगर थोड़ा सा भी गोली इधर जाएगी तो ब्लास्ट हो सकती थी और मैं मर सकती थी । पर जाको राखे साईयान मार सके ना कोई ।

                         मैंने अपना अनुभव उन्हे बताया कि हाँ , मैं छोटी सी लड़की लगती हूँ । लेकिन ये जो ब्रेवरी मेरे अंदर आयी या हिम्मत मेरे अंदर आई , मेरे गुरुदेव ने मुझे बोला - संत श्री आशारामजी बापू । उन्होने मुझे बोला कि यदि मेरा सत्संग तूने सुना है - तो तू जा उस बहन कि मदद कर । और मैं अपने पूरे घर मे सबसे डरपोक इंसान हूँ । अगर छिपकली भी मेरे घर मे होती थी तो मैं पहले अपने पापा को बोलती थी, पापा उसे बाहर निकालो । लेकिन ये हिम्मत मुझे मेरे गुरुदेव बापुजी ने दी है । तो वो बोलती है - रुक जाओ । रुक जाओ। रुक जाओ । ये संत श्री आशारामजी बापू का नाम मत ले । ये बोल कि ये सब तूने किया हैं । मैं तुझे बहुत बड़ी जगह से ब्रेवरी पुरस्कार दिलाउंगी , बापुजी का नाम मत ले । हमे ऊपर से आदेश है - हम बापुजी के समर्थन (उनके अच्छाई ) के पक्ष में कुछ भी नहीं दिखा सकते ।

                           मुझे इतना धक्का लगा कि बापुजी जिन्होने मुझे ऐसी प्रेरणा दी है । आप उसके बारे में ऐसे क्यों बोल रहे हो ? ये तो मेरा सच हैं । क्या मीडिया का यही कर्तव्य है कि सच्चाई को काँट के दिखाये ? मैंने उसे बोला कि मैं अपने गुरुदेव का नाम जरूर लूँगी । तो उसने बोला, नहीं नहीं मैं ये नाम नहीं दिखा सकती - क्योंकि हमे ऊपर से आदेश हैं । तो ये ऊपर से आदेश हैं , कि बापुजी जैसे संत जो हैं , उनका नाम जो हैं खराब ही किया जाएँ । ये मीडिया कि पूरी चाल हैं , ये मैं आपके सामने बताना चाहती हूँ ।

                        उसके बाद मैंने उसे सवाल-जवाब नहीं दिया । मैंने उसे बोला कि मुझे आपको इंटरव्यू नहीं देना हैं । उसने अंत मे ये बोला कि मैं तुझे बहुत बड़े जगह से पुरस्कार दिला सकती थी । मैंने बोला - मेरा ब्रेवरी पुरस्कार मेरे बापू हैं और वो मेरे साथ हैं । और अगर मुझे मिलना होगा तो ऐसे ही मिल जाएगा । वो चली गयी

Following newslinks (Mail Today, News24/ Cached, TOI/ Cached) cover Komal Malhotra's story but as expected they do not mention Asharam Bapu's name or interview with Komal anywhere. I know, comments section of TOI was personally flooded with names of Asharam Bapu linking Komal's acknowledgement of same but Comments Section for that particular article has now been closed, deleting any previous user comments on it. Do ping back in comments if anyone is able to get more leads on this story. Its 2 years old now but equally revealing and scathing in the attitude media has been showing till date.

       It was 29th Nov, Sunday Edition of Marathi daily 'Lokmat' carried an analysis on ISIS and their sources of funding. Because the article centered upon finance behind operations of ISIS, it carried an image of piggy-bank stamped with symbol of ISIS. Bare Facts right. But the fun is not in statement, its in interpretation and interpretation of the interpretation (don't interpret if your head's already dizzy)

Muslims Vandalize Lokmat Office over Pig alongwith Prophet Mohammad

  Lokmat's office was attacked in multiple places in Maharashtra. The copies of the Sunday edition of the newspaper were also burnt at several places. An FIR was also registered against the cartoonist and the editor of the newspaper by Congress, Member of Legislative Assembly (Malegaon) - Shaikh Asif Shaikh Rashid.

The Interpretation

      So, the piggy bank could have been left for what is was - a piggy bank but no, some people reacted which was soon synchronized into attacks on office. FIR was registered. Threats of dire legal action called. The interesting part for me is - not the revenge attacks. If Muslim Community feels threatened - they have as much right to retaliate as me. What did catch my attention was the stoic silence of media and in some ways - the means of voicing this digression by Muslims.

The Interpretation of Interpretation

These are golden take-away points, representing true fabric of 'Secular' India. 

• Secularism is used as 'Shield' by Media/Politicians when things become too hot to handle or they do not want to comment upon the obvious. So, Secularity will be safely invoked and applied when muslim brothers protest over ISIS Article but not when Shiv Sena workers butcher and sell live meat outside Jain Temples during Paryushan.  


• Secularism and Community peace will be disregarded when Baba ramdev is Lathi-Charged and his tent burned, Jayendra Saraswati arrested midnight on Diwali, 600 police men gherao and lathi charge devotees of Asharam Bapu - but it will be used as a shield to protect Imam Bukhari of Jama Mashjid from his numerous Non Bailable Warrants.

  " Reprimanding the police for its failure to execute numerous NBWs on previous occasions for all these years, Metropolitan Magistrate Rajinder Singh issued fresh NBW against Bukhari and remarked that such inefficiency could not be tolerated. The magistrate also rubbished the contention of Delhi Police that they did not arrest Bukhari fearing communal backlash as he represented a religious community "

• only because Asharam Ji is head of Hindu Institution we must not leave an opportunity go waste in ridiculing and showing fake stories of him, as doing otherwise means we are favoring him and hey ! that's not secular. And on other hand we must firmly close our eyes - when allegations over peoples of other religions surface up , because disturbing Pastor Jacob John over alleged raping of 13 Minor Girls in Christian Grace Home or those 63 Kerala Christian priests facing offenses including murder, rape, molestation, assault, abduction, theft and cheating may disturb the 'secular' nature of India and make minority community uncomfortable

Subramanian Swamy : Interview Transcript 1

        Its 23rd April 2015, both media and Jodhpur City is on revved up because Dr Subramanian Swamy is scheduled to visit Jodhpur today. Its not a political meet-up rather he is here to meet renowned Asaram Bapu, lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail under judicial custody since Sep, 2013.
                The case has garnered enough eyeballs as is. A complex amalgamation of die-hard followers, daily incessant crowd at Jail & Courtrooms, Media's sleazy reporting s and a war between faiths. We bring up first of a series of Subramanian Swamy transcripts related to this case. Please scroll down for Dr Swamy's transcripts below.

Bapu: I have my hopes on God, I also have hopes from lovers of God, i have my expectancy even from you !

Media: Is he coming with ModiJi's message ?

Subramanian Swamy attests - Rape Case against Asharam Bapu to be ground-less

Bapu:  No No, he won't come with message from Modi Ji. Lets go (chuckles) now you all have started cooking your imagination - do not deform this. Value and necessity is to speak truth. If it would have been my mistake, Subramanian Swamy won't hesitate in telling me so. And if the case would be bogus, he won't fall back in proclaiming so.

Media: How much more time would it take ?

Bapu: See, barber does not cut his own hair, Doctor does not treat his own self, lawyer does not fight his own case, and saints too never toil to benefit themselves. 

Media: Do you have faith (left) on someone ?

Bapu: I believe only on your father, and your father is that same... Everyone's good... (Everyone's up-liftment)

Media: Is Jailer treating you harshly in jail ?

Bapu: See let only good happen to everyone and Subramanian Swamy is on side of truth, I'm happy for that. 

" Whoever be the person, very great or powerful but Subramanian Swamy will fearlessly take the bulls by his horns - if the person's actions are in disharmony with India's. And in whichever corner of the world may a person be, mountains of abuse and insult are perched upon my shoulders, yet he comes without beckoning. Such nobility "

Media: Somewhere there would have been in your heart - he is coming soon or late. Have some hopes arisen now ?

Bapu: I have that same faith arising in me... Shall i reveal it?

Media: Tell us Bapu - When will your 'acche din' come ?

Bapu: My bad days have never even come.

Media: Then tell your "Mann Ki Baat"  

Bapu: Modi too hosts talk shows, i too would reveal Feelings of my Heart. My 'Mann Ki Baat' is however the situations, do not treat them as eternal truth. Only truth is your soul. Its eternal and conscious. Never think bad of anyone, Never hope that bad happens onto someone. And never actually do bad of others. Whatever you get in return, reposing candidly conquer all extremities and be liberated and great soul.

Subramanian Swamy : After coming out from Jodhpur jail

 

Swamy: I met Asaram Bapu Ji. Since we too have knowledge about procedures and law. I studied about the scenario here. I was very surprised after I came to know that he is now in Jail since last 18 months, that too when the case is only in its investigative stage. I Understand, India has created a new record - in keeping a person in jail for so long in these types of cases.

Actual culprits like Jayalalitha and Lalu are out on bail after appeal, even after being convicted. So there is no reason for him (being denied bail)

According to the last order of Supreme Court in this case, all pr-requisites for granting bail stand fulfilled.

I hope in the coming days, a new application be filed here and he should be granted bail and comes out free.

Questioner: Will you be fighting his case?

Swamy: That i'll be deciding. He only suggested me to fight his case. I understand that he has been denied justice big time.

" After seeing  the materials, I would conclude that this case is baseless and i also know for sure, that Sonia Gandhi is stoically bent upon destroying him (Asharam Bapu). This is because he resisted religious conversions. People who were converted to other religions by use of force/ gifting basic amenities esp among tribal or rural India, he bought them all back "

Many Hindu preachers had to face this discrimination and abuse during UPA.

As you must be aware, that Shankracharya of Kanchi who is the most revered figure by all Hindus, at least in south, was framed and put to jail in fake murder case.

I took full interest in that case too and Shankracharya Ji was fully acquitted with due respect and such are the ways of nature that Jayalalitha, who framed him then, is now on verges of being jailed herself.

In essence this monstrous demonic treatment with saints (initiates minutes Karmic law ) and leads to betterment of the whole society.

Questioner: But don’t you think that Asaram Bapu is facing scores of allegations in land acquisition, black magic, killing of Gurukul’s students and many such cases. Should you be fighting case for such a person ?

Swamy: See, I am not focusing on all ‘such cases’. to get bail is his fundamental right and I will be fighting for that only.

Questioner: so are you fighting only for his bail in this case?
 

Swamy: Naturally, I fight only for cases in public interest. I don’t interfere in other petty cases or personal cases related to say internal corruption or Ashram.

Subramanian Swamy takes the nation by storm - Asharam Bapu arrested upon Sonia Gandhi's reckoning

Questioner: so will you apply for bail in Supreme Court?

Swamy: No, bail application starts from (lower session courts) here only

Questioner: Sir, in Gujarat too he has been booked under a similar case.

Swamy: I don’t know about that. I have not studied that case. And I won’t be calling Jodhpur case 'forged' but I know that this case does not stand legally.

Firstly, right from starting, why was the FIR lodged in Delhi, when incident is of Jodhpur that too after delay of 5 days ? According to prior judgements of Supreme Court, no police station lodges such a complaint. They call up the police station in Jodhpur and tell them, that such a case has arrived and we are sending it to you.

So, It’s really surprising that in spite of all this Delhi Police lodged such an FIR but all these are ingredients for trial arguments. Today, all the terms dictated by the Supreme Court for application of bail, have been fulfilled and now, we can apply for the bail.

Questioner: what terms?

Swamy: That the process of all the key witnesses who had to give statement, should be completed. That’s almost completed now.

Questioner: before Lok Sabha 2014 elections, Narendra Modi had released an order that none of the political leaders would stand in support of Asaram Bapu

Swamy: Really? This is like.. Why don't i remember any such thing.

Questioner: No, he created this rule for all his party members

Swamy: Rule ! Really? 

Questioner: Yes. After that none of the politician stood out for him

Swamy: Okay, I will ask Modi that if he created any such writ, why didn’t he inform me. (laughs) OK.

So, this is it. I must say, Subramanian Swamy is lion among sheep. On one side, we have people who fear speaking even the obvious whereas on other hand, we have this persona doing everything selflessly , facing someone's else share of abuses just because he is not an eunuch to back away even after knowing the truth. Let the righteous side win.

Biased and Humiliating : News24 Debates over Asharam Bapu

This is in context of debate organized by a TV Channel "News 24" over Asharam Bapu case, titled "5 Ki Panchayat". It telecast-ed on 21st Oct 2015, a copy of which has been uploaded on you tube too. News24 has been hosting such talks since over 2 years, and somehow they always focus on stories and selective facts which could portray Asharam Bapu in bad light. Their agenda for yesterday was "Why was so much money being burnt on Asharam Bapu ?"

The Agenda introduced sums of 8 crores, 150 police officials to have been used for court proceedings of Asharam Bapu. They did not provide any official verification for this amount. Neither was the source/ expenditure break up introduced. Anchor gave a value, we were supposed to treat it as absolute truth.

So, as you would notice the ratio of this panchayat stands as 4:1 , only one member has been invited to speak in support of Asharam Bapu, all others usually rant against him, which shows how biased the show has been from start.

You may be wondering why i have included anchor in any group, for or against. But then, News24 channel is facing impending court proceedings due to morphed video it aired on its channel. The case was registered by person, directly insulted there-in. So its natural humane expression that News24 is miffed and wants to revenge insult Asharam Bapu's followers and organization. Oh you didn't get it ? News24 aired a carefully doctored video of asharam bapu. Catch it here. 

 

How they treated Neelam Dubey ???

 

1. She was never given independence to speak over issues. A pre determined question was first developed by anchor in collabration with other panelists, then Neelam Dubey was accused for the issue and then in octaves two level high, anchor almost slammed her to answer that question ?

2. When, she to her credit asked about source of dubious claims made by channel such as 2 Lakhs was used when Asharam Bapu travelled from Jodhpur to Old Delhi Station via train, 15 crores have been spent till date. She was immediately attacked by anchor over raising this issue > She was told she is engineering tactics to avoid answering questions. (If she had to avoid answering, why would she agree for a 4:1 panel, sorry war zone ?)

3. When after getting no response from anchor over verification of these figures, she called channel to be intentionally misleading, her sound connection was immediately cut. She was speaking but no one was made to hear it. Can you imagine, a channel cuts someone's voice when she asked for verification/source of the agenda, she is expected to debate upon.

4. Neelam Dubey was called upon to speak sub-subserviently and docilely so as to maintain her image of Asharam Bapu's spokesperson. All other panelists however were free to behave as they wished. All restrictions just for Asharam Bapu.

I wish to comment on what H S Rawat said, that Asharamji has done a lot for Hindu religion and if he's innocent law would prove it. Also, Rekha Aggarwal cautioned the supporters not to create a law and order situation, to which i completely agree. However, she could have verified the fact if the supporters actually led to any such thing based on ground reports. But then anchor was serving these facts as some immortal and unquestioned truths. Dont even get me started on anchor, its better i keep my mouth shut.

Over course of debate/mud slinging/ war zone/ no peace zone.... When Neelam Dubey questioned Rekha over fact that Tarun Tejpal, claused under same 376 rape law is out on bail, and person who happily murdered people by driving their vehicles over them are out on bail, Rekha only told 2 cases cant be compared. Yaa, after all one is related to Congress, other to underworld , how do we compare them ?

I intend to do a follow-up on agenda raised by News24, on this blog where at least i'm sure my views wont be cut out.

Asaram Bapu did not touch the girl (Original Medical Reports)

Probably for the first time, we present in the original medical reports of accuser girl who alleged attempt to molestation on Asharam Bapu. The girl, surprisingly enough tells tales of harassment and use of force and misbehavior that lasted on for more than a hour and an half. Not surprisingly enough, medical report plain negated her statements. SEE HOW ?

As evident, from highlighted passages, there is No physical assault and penetration. This medical report was conducted by Dr Shalija Verma of LokNayak Hospital, Delhi. She was government or in this case Jodhpur Police appointed medical officer. Yet, first page of this medical report clearly affirms no assault.

Also, Swami Nithyanand, over course of one of his discourses has said that,Asaram Bapu is innocent and kept his views based on legal consultancy and after analyzing medical reports.

" I'm telling you very clearly. I have consulted with some of the doctors who usually give these medical reports. I spake to some of them and asked their legal opinion based on their medical report. They said, Swamiji based on medical report we are 100% sure there is neither rape nor attempt rape. Not even sexual assault. Because a minor's skin will be very soft, if an assault is there the mark will be there for at least next 3-4 days.They said no rape happened. No attempt rape. "

Coming back to medical reports, it further states that there is no signs of either sexual assault or physical assault. Also, her hymen was found intact. This medical report was conducted on 20th Aug 2013, days before he was Asharam Bapu was finally arrested. Pretending to be a routine questionnaire, he was taken by police to Jodhpur. Hours after he took names of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi as people who are trying to frame him up in crime, he was finally arrested and has not been let out till today.

Its strange when, one such important piece of evidence is completely shunned away from general public both by media and investigating authority. In spite of zero evidence, rape clauses have still been charge-sheeted by Jodhpur police. We live in such democracy today where convicted Salman Khan or Lalu Prasad Yadav are not just let go by media houses but are in fact venerated and also promoted. But using same instruments, we wish to convict Asharam Bapu here with no proof. This medical report will surely play an important role in the court, if and when it is fully recognized for what it is : NO RAPE BY ASHARAM BAPU

Oh! I almost forgot : fact that jailing Asharam Bapu would impart a huge blow to Hindu community and its religious face worldwide is of no importance. Consequently, task of reconverting those thousands of tribals who were still in Hinduism, due to altruism of Asaram Bapu organizations would become way too easy, holds no legal implications. So ignore it.

Here Comes Another BABA

Guys Its raining allegations over Babas. So our next entrant to the list is "Sarathi Baba". Ok... Who ? Basically, he is one preacher from state of Odisha in India. Of course, the media has already elevated him to status of Self-proclaimed godman, controversial, second avatar of Krishna (self-attested by media) and for the rest do use your imagination. This stuff is really getting boring, come on media not every preacher in India is you know self proclaimed godman. For that matter, i do not even know what godman means;

Yes steering back the talks to the allegations, what actually has been alleged is that this babaji was spotted wearing Jeans and T-Shirt. 2 minute silence for all seculars please. No, technically speaking that's not the major issue here. The list is long and continually growing.

Lets delve in detail. All this started when News 7 in last week of July, 2015 aired still photos and footage from Hyderabad Hotel, alleging Mr Sarathi stayed there for few days along with a female accompany, they also showed copies of Non-Vegetarian food and liquor billed to their Room No. This is what we could say is the initial basic framework. The duo had spent three days in the four-star hotel and the godman had presented his voter ID card as identity proof while checking in, the report claimed.

What followed next was beyond any logical reasoning. I say so not to defend Sarathi Baba but just to point out the timeline of events which has just so easily been overlooked (intentionally?) by all of us. If this man stayed with another female for a week in Hyderabad. What's the problem? Before u start labeling me as pervert, immoral, stupid and blind follower lemme elaborate. 

* Legally speaking, two adults staying together with mutual consent, is not a crime under any clause. The lady who was introduced as his first wife during hotel check in could have raised an alarm during any day of their stay or in flight. There is no proof of abduction or harassment. From the initial reporting it looks very much mutual.

* Bills for non-vegetarian food and liquor were charged to same room he had been staying in. These bills could easily be faked both by hotel authority and media. Has it got Baba's signatures on it ?

* With all these hullabaloo regarding ban on sale/consumption on meat, now we have a protest over its consumption. Well, redefine hypocrisy please.

* He has readily accepted he regularly wears western outfits but to evade being recognized and mobbed at public place. Which  is completely sensible. Also, he has presented his actual IDs both in flights and hotel, even media affirms it. Then where's the question of hiding ?

* All i am suggesting is, if the baba has actually stayed with a lady and consumed such foods. The final call lies with his adamant followers, his wife, his son. Not in any way with media. If baba is found unfit for spiritual position he has claimed over himself as spiritual guide for many, his followers can shun him and go. Why Jail over this ?

 

The case as it stands today is murkier and messy at best. The same woman who had stayed with him has now filed two FIRs against his organization. "ADGP, Crime Branch, B K Sharma said the woman alleged that she was asked by another woman who identified herself as a CBI officer to file the first FIR" reports Indian Express / Cached .Wow ! She filed an FIR just because someone on phone told her to. Also, she states in FIR, she had been forced by Sarathi’s women associates to file the initial FIR.

* Zee News (Original / Cached) reports Sarathi has been booked under various section of IPC including 420 (cheating), 120(B) criminal conspiracy and 341 (wrongful restraint) as well under the Arms Act and SC/ST Act. Call me dumb, but please could someone explain how staying overnight with that lady leads to Arms Act or SC?ST act. Someone. Anyone.

* At time of actual recording of statements, the lady has evolved her story to, "The woman, a final year student of SCB medical College here, had filed an FIR against four persons accusing them of blackmailing her for over four months and forcing her to accompany the Baba to Hyderabad where she spent three nights with him in the first week of July." as reported here / cached. Mind you, she finally understood she was being 'threatened' and 'forced' only after a media house revealed it all and state saw huge uproar and unrest. Not in flight, not in hotel, not even after returning back.

Currently, both he and his son have been arrested since Aug 8 and Aug 19. Son, over some financial interrogations. If you would google in his name, which you are probably doing right now : Allegations by ex-devotees, Gupt Sewa, Palang Sewa, Gold, Money is all you will be allowed to notice. No one takes time to even verify such reporting. He has also been charged with 2-3 more FIRs by once now ex followers. Some alleging rape 2 years back. From claims of holy materialization, actual biological mother, brain washing, blind followers, you name it - Sarathi Baba now has it.

My point is why has it all started so suddenly, in such synchronization. Who is behind it ?

Disclaimer : I have never met, seen, listen to, followed, visited Sarathi Baba or any of his ashram. I usually observed him on various TV channels while surfing between the channels. His popularity was on high since past years and continually increasing. After many years, Sarathi Baba may be convicted or pronounced innocent. I do not vouch for his innocence. I only highlight such events, which should have been found bizarre in any other context or in any other country or when associated with any other religion.

About the Book :

The Controversy :

Recently, many news articles have reported this book to instead being a book which induces sex, enlargement of sexual organs, safe sex and tips on sex. Must i remind them, that's the work of our esteemed journal houses and main stream media. The voice which remains mum on nude cover photos of India Today Magazines and blatant advertising of sexual products on back pages of Dainik Bhaskar, the voice which happily lauds pervert conversation and ideas on AIB Knockout is the voice that wishes to calm and destroy down any voice that urges Indians to be honest with their family and increase self control.

Lies and Distortion

As opposed to media reports that the book is on sex tips and sexual practices. The book actually compiles stories from Mahabharat, Works of Patanjali, Upanishads and stories from life of other great scholars. We present few excerpts from the book for your analysis :

"The present education system - a legacy of the British colonial regime - is completely indifferent towards moral values. Consequently, today’s students start leading an unrestrained and indulgent life, even as bachelors. There is also a growing tendency among today’s youth to blindly imitate western conduct and manners. Thus they indulge in fashion, impure eating, immoral behaviour, bad company, vulgarity, cinema, etc., thereby suffering a gradual degeneration. They are becoming weak and lustful. Their sorry state indicates their complete ignorance about the glory of brahmacharya."

Continuing on, it quotes Swami Ramatirth's works and draws an interesting parallel from a survey conducted in Cambridge University.

"When Swami Rama Tirtha was a professor, he had drawn a list of successful and unsuccessful students which brought him to the conclusion that those students, who were engrossed in base pleasures during the examination days or immediately before the examination, were often unsuccessful - even though they were considered to be good students in the class. On the other hand, all those students whose minds were pure and focused during the examination days, were successful.

A survey conducted in the colleges of Britain’s world famous ‘Cambridge University’ also gives a warning to unrestrained students. Accordingly, those colleges in which the students led an unrestrained life overindulging in promiscuity, showed poorer results compared to those in which the students were more restrained.  To control sexual desire is a Herculean task. That is why Manu Maharaj states, “One should not sit even with his own mother, sister, or daughter in solitude. The sense organs are not easily controllable and may lead to the downfall of even wise people.”
