Hindustan Times intentionally leaves out protest in favour Asaram Bapu

         

           Asaram Bapu supporters and people acquainted with case have long since targeted media for its insensitivity and being bodacious. Had you been one of those who had given oh! our so modern and impartial journalists a mental ovation and pat on back for showing no mercy to Asaram ( Bapu ), take a step back. Media was being uptight and ferocious not because they were characteristically built so. It was all a show. Aimed at bringing utter character assassination of Asaram Bapu, his son Narayan Sai, his ashrams and any & all in solidarity with him. What would you think when someone covers all gatherings of protests barring a single. An oversight. I do not think so. 5th SEP 2015 protest march from Rajghat to Jantar Mantar, was attended by Sadhvi Prachi (Leader: VHP) , Ishkaran Bhandari (Lawyer and aide of Dr Subramanian Swamy), Ramesh Bidhuri (Member of Parliament and a member of BJP) amongst others.

             On 6th Sep 2015, Hindustan Times published a report titled : Jantar Mantar: A melting pot of protests, politics and more. In this article, Manoj Sharma covers various protests being carried out by various sections of society. Some even dating back 3 years. What however was very astonishing was leaving out protest in favor of Asaram Bapu, which saw a huge gathering and march the same day, at same place where the author researches upon and covers other protests viz OROP, Movement Against Reservation (MAR), Students against management etc. I guess someone had his ears and eyes shut tight exactly in the direction in which Asaram Bapu supporters where. Or someone had their hands bind tight against covering any news which may impart to Asaram Bapu even a slight positive side.

              The same protest has been covered separately by other media houses such as Sudershan News, A2Z News, Samachar Plus (Rajasthan), Gulistan News as well as print media etc. So, now that i retrospect i remember an article published by Rajiv Malhotra which challenged and emphasized almost similar media roles in another scandal : Swami Nithyanand's. To Quote him :

                 At first a highly sensational sexual charge was broadcast in order to devastate his credibility and create an atmosphere in which any and all kinds of outlandish allegations would be taken at face value. Once the media and popular sentiments had been turned against him, there was one amazing allegation after another in rapid sequence. It was clear that none of this was spontaneous but was being centrally orchestrated under a systematic plan.

                 What became evident to me was that there was cooperation in informal and unofficial ways among the media, police and lower level judiciary. In fact, many third parties were aware of the attack in advance and had warned his people before it happened with specific details of the plan.

This is not the first time something like this has happened, in Asaram Bapu case in particular or with Hindu saints in general. There was scant media reports when medical report of accuser girl ruled out rape. Reports? Clips, Debates on Narayan Sai being termed absconder was streamed for months. However, when same Narayan Sai's absconder status was later quashed by Delhi Court, there was not a single camera to cover it. When you start leaving out all those events/ facades and facts sequentially that point to Asaram Bapu being framed, readers can have a fair guess : Who could be the real conspirators or atleast an aide in the agenda. 

                     On a parting note, i do not blame someone for anything. The tactics of turning blind eye to truth and excessively fanning out fake stories does nothing eventually.As its always truth that triumphs.

Welcome Back [2015] removes dialogue, after protests

Welcome Back trailer releases dialogue demeaning Asaram Bapu

                     I have often wondered if Bollywood is being given more importance and following than logically due to them. Its sad for any cultural ethical populace more so for one as big and ethically rooted as India, when we start treating scripted heroes and stories as our role model. This praise has gone to their heads for sure.

                          Most recent entrant for hurting religious sentiments and making a mockery of country's legal judgement system is Welcome Back directed by Anees Bazmee, and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala . It features Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles from the prequel Welcome in 2007. John Abraham and Shruti Haasan are new additions to the lead cast. The film is scheduled for a release soon.

                     The film's dialogue mock Asaram Bapu , explicitly using Baba Asaram as part of their dialogue. I guess the film's cast and dialogue producers are usually low on IQ. I would like to remind them that till date Asaram Bapu in his 50 years of spiritual and welfare work has not been convicted for any crime, anytime anywhere by court of law. So, kindly do not jump the gun and paint him a shade of grey in your unworthy and stardom hungry film

Faces Protest

                        This move has garnered fierce criticism from many people. Film's you tube comments section is overflowing with shock and outrage over their insensitive attitude. If you feel protesting, please drop them a message here requesting them to respect their country's law.

                   
                            Many people protested and called the production house to register their complaints. YSS formally went in to meet and solve the issue amicably.

Dialogue is finally removed

                    After a flurry of calls, social outrage and personal visits to production house, they wished to play it safe and removed the dialogue from the film. We congratulate everyone including the producers for it. Associate producer of the film gave his regret note in writing, a copy of which is reproduced below.

                        

Accuser Girl's Lawyer panicks, retracts on his own statement

Accuser Girl's lawyer seems running out of arguments against Asaram Bapu. Well, what with such a shaky piece of foundation to his client's story and no evidence coming out to support his client, we do not blame his situation. However, just a piece of advice 

We will soon expose how girl's lawyer had to chew on his own words after not everything went as planned. In short, people started speaking up the truth. Supreme Court on Sep 23, 2014 had asked the Rajasthan government to give it the names of six witnesses which are critical and crucial for the prosecution in the case. Sudha is one of those 6, deemed crucial by Rajasthan Government.

Why this reliance on Sixth Witness : 

Subramanian Swamy had applied for Bail of Asaram Bapu which was unfortunately rejected on 21 June 2015. However, the only reason which accuser girl's lawyer could muster up was non-examination of 6th important witness : Sudha Patel . See Subramanian Swamy tweet about it :

Sudha Patel Appears in Jodhpur Session Court :

All was well, until Sudha Patel was given a chance to keep her own stand in the courtroom. She gave statement in favor of Ashram, negating her signed statement alleging interrogation team to have taken it while she was unwell and under pressure. She was not aware of content of documents signed, which was written by police using their own imagination.

Who is Asaram Bapu ?

Asaram Bapu is 74 year old spiritual Guru for millions in India and worldwide. He has been in news off and on since year 2008 mostly. In 2008, a case was filed against him in alleged involvement in drowning of 2 children of his Gurukul. This was loudly relayed all across India by all media houses. A series of defamation and hate campaign against him was carried out then. Due to enormous interest shown by media in reporting this incident 24*7, the case escalated to CID. Both D K Trivedi Commission and CID, India have given clean chit in this case to Asaram Bapu and his organization. On 20 August 2013, a FIR was filed in Kamala Market, Delhi at 2:30 AM in night against him.

Allegations on Bhagwati Nagar, J&K Ashram

Bholanand, one self-attested former resident of J&K Ashram of Asaram Bapu raised hue and cry when he gave an incriminating statement in one of LIVE News channel. He alleged (now found to be fake) that there were skeletons of children buried inside Asaram Bapu Ashram's premises in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Media articulated this rumor with full gusto, without sparing a thought on authenticity and integrity of source/nature of this allegation.

Case against Bholanand & his subsequent Arrest

Vigilante citizens, not withstanding this fake assault of cooked up charges against the Ashram, registered a police complaint. On 17 October 2013, police had booked Nath, a resident of Jaipur in Rajasthan, for conspiring to implicate Asaram by claiming that three children were buried in his ashram at Bhagwati Nagar here after being murdered. He was arrested on 14th Nov, 2013 for hatching conspiracy against Asaram Bapu.

Pankaj : Next Arrested by Jammu-Kashmir Police

Over course of their detailed investigation, police rounded up on confessions made by Bholanand. One among-st revealed name was that of Pankaj, former resident of Chindwara Ashram who suspiciously ran off one month before FIR was filed against Asaram Bapu on 20 Aug,2013. What do these revelations emphasize ?

1. Case filing against Asaram Bapu on 20 August 2013 was per-meditated. No incident ever happened on   15th August 2015 with people near alleged place denying, that girl even met asaram bapu in person alone. So, if Pankaj was sure enough to flee ashram exactly one month before FIR was filed, there was deliberate and detailed analysis carried out before. 2. Pankaj confessing relation with victim girl (the same girl who filed FIR)
3. The whole conspiracy has coughed up some strong currency needs. Major areas where money was put to  use could be :

·         Bribing of people to speak up against Asaram Bapu Ashram

·         Money forwarded to select anti-hindu faces in MSM, to speak against Asaram Bapu. There is 24*7 news on Asaram Bapu even after 2 years. Focused one-sided stories have been run, for 1 hour sometimes with no breaks for advertisement. (So, if revenue from advertisement was not on agenda, what was?)

·         Setting up of fake online accounts for outsourcing rumor factory against Ashram.

·         Funding received from SIMI
